Isle-ettes Dinner and a Movie
5:00 p.m. Dinner, 6:00 p.m. Movie

All are welcome to come to the Club for an Early Bird dinner and feature presentation of the movie: MAIDEN.

This A-plus movie portrays the story of how Tracy Edwards, a 24-year-old charter boat cook, became the skipper of MAIDEN and led the first ever all-female crew in the grueling yachting competition Whitbread Round the World in 1989. Tracy’s inspirational dream was opposed on all sides: her male competitors thought an all-women crew would never make it, the chauvinistic yachting press took bets on her failure, and potential sponsors rejected her, fearing they would die at sea and generate bad publicity. With the help of her crew she went on to shock the sporting world and prove that women are very much the equal of men. Since our Isle-ettes ladies are all adventurous women, we know you will love this movie!

Spouses and guests welcome! Come join us!
